CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF GOD'S BLESSINGS
THIS PLACE IS MEANT FOR ALL
June 14, 2020
Greetings in the Name of Our Lord!
I am excited to announce that Crystal Springs Church of God will reopen for Sunday morning services next Sunday, June 21! We will only be having our 10:30 service, no coffee and donuts prior to service and no children’s services yet. Please bring your own Bible.
Let me fill you in on the ways we are striving to keep everyone safe and healthy. When you arrive at the building someone will greet you and hold the door open for you so there will be no need for anyone to touch the door handles. Once in the building you will be welcomed by a greeter who will offer you a mask and hand sanitizer. It will be up to you if you wish to accept either. Your worship folders have been prepared in a sanitized manner and will be handed to you with a gloved hand. An offering plate is placed just inside the sanctuary door for your convenience.
We will be serving communion our first Sunday together. For safety and sanitation purposes we have purchased individual cups and wafers. They will be distributed to you as you enter the sanctuary. Trash cans have been placed in the back of the church for you to dispose of your empty containers.
All surfaces have been sanitized. Pews have been taped off to assist with social distancing. We are asking that families that come together sit together. Bibles and Hymnals have been removed from the pews for safety purposes as well. At the end of the service, Cindy and I will dismiss you row by row to assist alleviating congestion.
Despite all of these preparation and precautions, I know some of you still may be leery to congregate. Please know that’s okay. You need to do what your belief is safest and most appropriate for you. Please only come when you feel comfortable and confident.
Let me remind you that Bible Study is still taking place on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6:30 pm, and on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 pm. Chairs have been spaced 6 feet apart for your safety. You are welcome and invited to attend any of these studies. Please bring your own Bible.
If you have any questions, please contact me. I look forward to seeing you soon!
In His Service,
